How to Apply for an Alien ID

  1. Log in to eCitizen

    Access the "Foreign Nationals Services" (FNS) portal on eCitizen.

  2. Fill Application

    Select "Foreign National Registration" (Initial or Renewal) and fill Form A1.

  3. Pay Fees

    Pay the registration fee (approx. KES 1,000 - 2,000 depending on status) via the portal.

  4. Book Biometrics

    Book an appointment for fingerprinting and photo capture at Immigration HQ (Nyayo House) or regional offices.

  5. Collect Card

    Once processed, you will receive a notification to collect your card.
